An experimental Korean typeface, Fragment is a typeface created by designing circular modules. It is a combinational typeface which has 14 consonants and 10 vowels. Emphasizing the sculptural and rhythmic qualities of Korean geometric shapes, the letters look like patterns. Poet Lee Jung-ha's poems 'My Love Was Intense' and 'To a Low Place', designed using Fragment, have a sense of rhythm as the letters are organically connected as if engraved on a tablet.
실험적 한글 서체인 전각체는 원형 모듈을 고안해서 만든 서체입니다. 한글의 기하학적 도형이 가진 조형미와 리듬감을 강조한 이 서체는 글자가 마치 패턴처럼 보입니다. 전각체를 이용해 디자인한 이정하 시인의 시 '나의 사랑은 강렬했으나' 와 '낮은 곳으로'는 판에 새긴 듯이 활자들이 유기적으로 연결되어 리듬감을 느낄 수 있습니다.
