While books on Greco-Roman mythology in Korea are diverse and highly recognized, literature and resources on ancient Egyptian mythology are relatively few and less recognized. This is because the Greek civilization is considered to be the beginning of modern civilization, including art, culture, and architecture. However, Greco-Roman mythology actually originated from the ancient Egyptian civilization. EGOS is an educational tablet application that makes learning about ancient Egyptian mythology easy and fun through animal-themed Egyptian gods. Elementary school students can broaden their knowledge of world history by learning about ancient Egyptian history and civilization through EGOS.
국내의 그리스 로마 신화에 대한 서적은 다양하고 인지도가 높은 반면, 고대 이집트 신화에 대한 문헌 및 자료는 상대적으로 적고 인지도 또한 낮습니다. 그리스 문명이 미술, 문화, 건축 등 현대 문명의 시초가 되었기 때문입니다. 하지만 사실상 그리스 로마 신화는 고대 이집트 문명에서 기원되었습니다. EGOS는 동물이 모티브가 된 이집트 신을 통해 고대 이집트 신화를 쉽고 재미있게 학습할 수 있는 교육용 태플릿 어플리케이션입니다. 초등학생들은 EGOS를 통해 고대 이집트 역사와 문명을 배움으로써 세계 역사에 관한 지식의 폭을 넓힐 수 있습니다.
